The surprise of 2022: we had coupled Rock My Heart and our lovely Africa De Las Heras, but first examinations had given negative to her pregnancy. Some months later, when the mare was in training, we realized she must be pregnant after all. And, yes, a few weeks later a beautiful filly was born to Africa De Las Heras in the late afternoon, just when Venus appeared on the sky. So we called her ”Venus Inesperada” (Unexpected Venus). I (Carmen) happened to be near and saw two years sticking out from the grass. I approached and we made contact. The mother was quietly observing. That contact easiness between us has remained a unique bond. Unexpected Venus is an extremely clever, energetic, and open to contact young beautiful filly.

La sorpresa de 2022:  Habíamos acoplado  a Rock My Heart y nuestra hermosa Africa De Las Heras, pero los primeros exámenes habían dado negativos en cuanto a la preñez. Meses más tarde, cuando la yegua estaba en entrenamiento, nos resultó claro que tenía que estar preñada.  Efectivamente, algunas semanas después , en el atardecer, cuando apenas había aparecido Venus en el Cielo, le nació  a Africa De Las Heras una hermosa potranca.  La llamamos Venus Inesperada.  Yo  estaba en las cercanías, y vi dos orejas  sobresaliendo del pasto.  Me acerqué, la acaricié,e hicimos contacto.  La madre observaba tranquila.  Esa posibilidad relacional se ha mantenido entre nosotros.  Venus Inesperada is una  hermosa potranca extremadamente inteligente, energética, y abierta a contactos.
